About The Role:
Our client is a dominant, market-leading conglomerate with an extensive footprint in the consumer-facing hospitality, retail, and food-service sectors. As the organization enters a new phase of modernization and technological integration, they are seeking a seasoned Head of Manufacturing Operations to oversee their centralized production ecosystem.
This role is designed for a strategic operations leader who can manage high-volume, complex manufacturing environments while ensuring uncompromising standards in food safety, quality, and output consistency across a diverse portfolio of product lines.
What You Will Do:
You will be the architect of the group's manufacturing roadmap, responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple high-capacity production facilities. Your mandate is to bridge the gap between aggressive business growth and manufacturing efficiency, transforming traditional production processes into an agile, automated, and data-driven operation.
- Oversee the end-to-end P&L and operational efficiency of multiple large-scale production sites. Ensure production throughput aligns with rapid retail and catering demand.
- Lead the digital transformation of factory floors. Champion the integration of Industry 4.0 principles, including automated packaging, smart logistics, and AI-driven demand forecasting to minimize waste and maximize yield.
- Maintain the highest global benchmarks for food safety (HACCP, ISO, FSSC standards). Cultivate a "Quality-First" culture where safety is intrinsic to every operational process.
- Work horizontally with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure a seamless supply chain. Manage the complexity of sourcing high-quality raw materials for diverse product categories and ensuring just-in-time distribution to retail touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large, multi-disciplinary workforce of plant managers, food technologists, process engineers, and floor operations staff.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management is required. A Master’s/MBA or Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly regarded.
- 15–20+ years of senior operational leadership within large-scale, high-volume food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- A deep understanding of centralized kitchen operations, complex food processing technologies, and high-speed production line management.
- A proven track record of leading large-scale organizational change, including factory automation projects and the restructuring of operational processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-suite decision-making and lead large-scale teams in a high-pressure environment.
